And not true. You guys were late to both wars. Embarrassed yourselves in WW1. We were lead by a High School Principal. Our performance in WW1 cemented Canada as a country. Don't look at the stats of land, prisoner's and equipment captured. Massively in our favor with a much smaller fighting force. WW2 was much better but again late to the dance. The rest of the Allied forces were exhausted from 3 years of fighting, so the relief was welcome. My Uncle somehow survived from 1939 to 1945, haunted him till the train hit him. And yes, it was good that America developed the Atomic bomb before anyone else and effectively ended that mess. Being a patriotic Canadian, I can't let that lie fester. Carry on.No matter how many times I see this, I still think its one of the most tasteless and vile "catchphrases" I've ever heard and sh*ts on every single veteran that died or lost a part of themselves in the trenches or beaches or in the forests over the winter of '44.
Carry on.
Don't blow your fingers off.
Funny thing about art: it doesn't have to true or elicit the same response from everyone.
