Hatchback 4-4-2 ??

The frame might not be bad. Sometimes these cars can have extensive body rot but the frame ends up being clean. On the other hand, cars that have great low mileage bodies that have nice shiny original paint might have a frame that is completely shot. You can get replacement rear frame rails to fix it though.

I saw this one in Washington state. Not the prettiest of cars, but not in bad shape.

Ran across one of these in the junkyard today. Not a 442, but it's the first one I've ever seen. 6 cilinder. Looked in great condition except for the collision in the back. The markings on it were Salon. I'm in the middle of a restore, so still need a few more parts. Grabbed a dash piece that I was missing (Right side vent). Then grabbed 2 good armrests. Going back tomorrow to grab 2 of the rims and probably the upper door panels. GOOD front rims.
 
I have a 79 442 and have always wondered how many were produced. Does any body know what the production #'s are?
