I am about to put on a pair of Headman ceramic coated headers on my 83 H/O. Will I have to jack the motor up a few inches to get the headers seated in place? Are there any clearance issues? I am still currently running my stock original 307. I also will be putting in the new G force trans crossmember with the dual cut outs.

Thanks guys,

So have you gotten the Hedman headers on? I have the ceramic coated Hedman's that I am trying to put on my car right now. I have the right side on, but having trouble with the left. I bought a mini starter thinking that would give me more room but now I'm not so sure. I wasn't able to get the original starter in either, but the baby woke up from his nap so I didn't have much time to try getting it in there.

Just wondering if you did end up having to lift the engine to get it in.
