hey .im going to be putting a new exhauston my olds.it has a 350 chevy with a turbo 350 .im looking at the pypes duel exhaust with the crossoverand im getting a duel exhaust crossmember from jegs .what is the best set of full length headers to use on a lowerd car im going to lower it 2-3 inches in the front and 1 in the rear.

i think flow techs have the best tone. ive had hooker headers, and dynomax (didnt fit correctly) on my car and the flow techs have a truly recognizable tone. i hang out with a bunch of guys that have small blocks in their cars, but they always know when im coming. 😉

in a lowered car dont even think long tubes unless you want to hear lots of scrubbing noises .........

anything that protudes under the frame under a lowered g body is prone to destruction ....and I know what i'm talking about! ;-(

i just put some long tube Flowtechs on and thy fit great, they put up abit of a struggle but they will go in aslong as you follow the intructions, as for clearence i have pics of mine and they will have tons of clearence i think even lowered 3 inches , there on my 305 cutlass. they were also very cheap i paid 125 bucks for the set.

do you have angle plugs ?

the engine in my cutlass is a stock target master 350 ,with strat plug heads.i have shorty headers on it right now with a duel exhaust that has been on the car for about 8yrs and the shotys haver been a pain to keep sealed up at the collecter ever since i had the exhaust put on .the reason for wanting to lower my car is i rebuilt the front end on it about 10yrs agoand i put new v8 spring in it and the front is about 2-3 inches higher than the rear inlessi have air shocks in the back and i want to get ride of the air shocks.and im redoing the car .

makesure you follow the intructions to get these things in, i had to figth abit, they gotta go in from the bottom with it jacked up a good height and some things it will tell you to take out makesure there out, also i had to undo the trannny crossmember bolt and jack the up abit to just barly squeeze then in there but i got it all done. AND makesure you buy some better gaskets these ones leak like you wouldent believe.
