I'm in need of a headliner board for my 85 Regal.. It's not a T type. Where can i purchase one without getting raped or what what can i make one out of? I heard you can make one out of cardboard.. What is the proper procedure?

you can either repair yours ( or one from a wrecker/ parts car ) or pony up to pay for a new one. I think there would be too many contours to try and make your own from scratch

I have one of those installed in my Gbody that I purchased from Gbody parts dot com. It’s a great product and a vast improvement over the stock unit!

I have an ABS headliner backer in my car.
The only thing I don't care for is ,when its hot out,
Or park in the sun it expands and warps leaving a gap across the Ft trim.
It seems to come back after it cools down. It is cut a bit short also the trim just barely covers the edges.
I got it from www.stockinteriors.com.

Spacely find a donor headliner so you can get the right shape. Cover the whole thing in masking tape and cover that in foil. Lay fleece down and suport the headliner corners. Then lay fiberglass resin over your fleece i would add kitty hair. The tape and foil wont' allow the fiberglass to adhere to the OG headliner and it should come off with a little coaxing. Just a thought!

Were the abs headliners only aftermarket or were they stock in some cars? I've got the ordinary flimsy foam board in my 86 442 but me and a buddy parted out a 78 monte and i found an abs headliner. Needless to say i'll be swapping them out soon.

Thanks for all the support guys!! I think i will order the plastic abs from GBody next week
