i was looking threw the paperwork on my car, and the motor (olds 350) was rebuilt with 400 heads, the heads are #5 and i just wanna know more about it, are they goood heads to have?

Olds 400 is a big block, they would have used lettered heads and not numbered. Those most likely came off a 68-69 350. Very good cylinder heads.

oh ok see i didnt know what they came from the papers said 400 heads and i was thinking pontiac 400 but i dont think they would fit... the motor is from a 68

If the shortblock is from a 68 then the whole thing was probably a 68 350 olds. And ya, cylinder heads from other brand engines wont work. The closest there is to a 400 for an olds in the small block variety is a 403.
