this may sound like a stupid question but i m going to ask it anyways i'm building a 77 350 rocket for my 84 cutty and i am going to have a 307 for parts when i am done but i want to swap heads on my 77 will the 84 307 5a heads work on my 77 350 rocket project any help or ideas would be cool thanks!

They will and share a similar awful exhaust port. The 307 heads have smaller intake ports and valves. With .028" Corteco head gaskets, it will give you close to 9 to 1. You could get the 1.875"/1.56" 350 valves with bowl work. Will give good bottom end but less top end due to smaller ports. The 3A 350 are junk and crack prone. Early 350 heads are an even better choice.

Like mentioned above they will fit and work but not the best choice. My recommendation would be look for an older set...5, 6, 7 or 7A's.

The 260 are not good, tiny ports and valves. Yes they will increase compression but wouldn't provide anything over 2500 rpm. The 4A 403 heads would lower compression and only flow marginally better.

sure i'll take those 403 heads where are located in mn becasue i 'm sure it would not make any sence to ship them i'd be more than happy to come pick up! let me know thanks
