I have no hi speed. The switch worked properly since I put the car back on the road mid-summer and then stopped for a about a week then it started again but it wouldn't work on occasion but not it has not worked at all for about the last 3 weeks. The other 2 speed have always worked so it's not the resistor but I tried a new one anyway and it didn't help. I put a test light on a terminal in for the resistor while the resistor is plugged in. The test lite goes brighter when I turn the switch to high so I assume the switch is good but the power to the fan dies at that point.

Any ideas?... :?

thanks, I'll check that out and my motor is also probably drawing too many amps cause it drags when it is cold..I think you might found the problem, so thanks alot and I'll let you know

looks to be the relay, I hope they have one in stock at napa and I'll pick up an new motor since that probably helped to fry the relay...

I put a new blower motor in and lucky for me no one had a relay in stock so I took mine out of the car and took the relay apart. It was in perfect condition and it had no open circuits so I connected it to the harness in the car and left the cover off the relay. It worked properly and it was triggered to go to the high speed...It then dawned on me that this relay was only for the high speed so I checked the power lead....there was none...I have a bad connection on the wire harness feeding the power... :blam:

This is a common problem on G-body cars. Check the plug that connects the blower switch circuit under the hood. Usually it's a contact in the plug that has some light corrosion on it. Clean it with a little light sandpaper and you should be golden.
