Hey guys, I have an 87 Cutlass, with A/C, and I can't seem to find the problem, I replaced the relay, and am still not getting any power to the purple wire attached to the fan on any speed. I haven't checked the resistor, because, well, I don't know where it is. I checked all the fuses, but i don't seem to be getting any power to the connector for the High/med/ low switch at all, but I do have 12V at the relay (orange wire) I'm really quite stumped here, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Test the motor first, If it were me id just check all the connectors on the back of the heater switch an in the engine bay,There is a black ground wire on the passenger side under the dash, were the dash bolts to,make sure it's still connected,The blower motor "resistor" is right on top near the heater motor, should have a plug with 4 wires coming out, brown, dark blue, tan.light blue

There the harness runs over near the passenger side valve cover an has a plug in connector black, red, light green, dark green, make sure it's still plugged in,plug that plugs into the high low speed blower motor relay has red, blue, black, orange, purple

HERE A PIC OF A WIRING HARNESS MINUS THE VACUUM HOSES

No, I checked the fuses with a test light, and they all seem good

if the fuses are good and you checked the terminal at the switch and it has no power then the problem lies with the wire between the fuse box and the switch
