Hey guys quick question...I did a olds to chevy swap...The olds heater valve does not fit onto my new edelbrock intake. What can I do or what new heater valve can I use that will work on my intake? Thanks!

Yes I know the hose is 5/8" but what about a heater valve that will fit on my intake...is there one that will work with a edelbrock intake?

On a olds 307 there is a heater valve to the left rear that screws into the intake manifold. I think it a 1" pipe thread. The original heater valve I have off my olds 307 will not screw into my new intake because my heater valve pipe thread is too big. The edlebrock pipe thread is a 1/2" pipe thread if I'm not mistaken. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a heater valve that will work with my new intake.

Get the Chevy-style valve. It clamps in the heater hose instead of screwing into the manifold. Then just get a nipple for the manifold.

That makes sense! Thank you Joe! Very much appreciated!

when I got my wagon the valve was stuck so I just removed it and my heater works just fine with out it
