Name's Curtis.
This is my third G-body. I had an 85 Elky that basically rusted away. I had an 87 Cutlass Salon that I sold (stupidly) because someone offered my really good money for it. It only had 36k on it and it was pristine.
I have now procured an 86 Elky. Body is straight but rusty. 305 runs well but burns oil. 200-4r seems to be fine but questionable. It leaks fluid pretty badly. When I loaded it on the trailer I noticed it slipped a good bit. Refilling with fluid seemed to get things to operate properly, but how much clutch slipping happened before I got it. Frame is rock solid (it was a texas truck) so its on to the fun part. I already have a T56, so now all I need is the LQ9 to go in front of it.
Here it is in all of its primered, rattle-canned glory.
And my former G's
