My name is Guy,I just joined up.I own a 1986 Monte SS,it is an original SS,but the drivetrain is far from OEM.I bought it because it had a solid roller cammed 454 LS-6 crate motor with a Doug Nash 4+1 5 speed.I've had this car for 10 years,its never been winter driven,the body is pretty solid,frame looks good too.When I bought this car,I was mainly looking for a fast summer toy,I didnt know much about these cars,but I sure have learnt lots since then.I am married,no kids,1 dog & 2 cats,wife works,I work seasonally in the Alberta oil patch,driving a water truck for Big Eagle Services out of Camrose AB.I usually have the summer off,get to play with the Monte !!!

I've always wanted a big block Monte my brother put a 454 in his but he didn't keep it.

I havent heard of that project,buts its possible that Big Eagle may have trucks on it,they are a fairly large company.I usually work on Husky projects.
