Hello! I'm Andrew. I live in Coeur D'Alene, ID, a relatively large town/small city in North Idaho. I drive an 82 Monte Carlo with 68k original miles that is my daily driver and my baby. She's got a gutless 3.8 in her, but she's in just about perfect condition. Nice to meet you all and I hope to learn even more about these awesome cars.

Also, I don't know how to write one of these "Introduce Yourself" posts without it sounding completely nerdy, so........... yeah.

Welcome aboard Andrew.
Your introduction was just fine. Many new members don't even bother with the effort of introducing themselves.
Thanks for being human.

It's ok Andrew, we all have to do it...right of passage thing.
Plus, we all like to know how nerdy everyone else is.
We like pictures too...of your car, not so much you 🙂

Welcome from New Mexico. Did time in Idaho Falls. Man, did that town have a plan for plowing snow. Three plow trucks in a line shoved it to middle of the boulevards, then a conveyor-belt loader poured it into dump trucks, then they dumped the snow on any empty lot in town. I had to tunnel through the snow bank on the side of my driveway that winter so I could see the oncoming traffic before backing out.

Welcome Andrew; Boy that city brings back memories! I was stationed at Fairchild AFB from 1968 to 70 & consumed LDS (Liquid Distilled Spirits) at the Rat Cellar many times. As a mater of fact after too much consumption one night I got into a race with a guy and spun out at about a hundred & lived to tell about it. And no damage to the car other than stone chips. That's when I made the rule, Max One beer if I plan to race. And I got a mention the I-90 engineering mistake West of you & East of Spokane. Some where out on the flats their is about a mile or more of cement 4 lanes wide. We raced their many times until the county or state dumped many loads of fill to keep us off. And on another day I'll tell the story of the flat bottom boat & your local water patrol. Take care, Bob Jr.
Ps: A picture of Deer Park drag way, is it still open?
