Im new here and just wanted to introduce myself,I stumbled upon this website when I was searching a driver door problem with my 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix.Im not very "car" smart but im trying to learn and picked up the Grand Prix recently because im looking for a project and its a good place to start.This place seems to be full of knowledge and I think I can learn quite a bit here.

Thank You folks,im ready to get my Grand Prix going.All ive gotten around to do since ive gotten it was put a high rise intake,a rebuilt quadrojet carb and some nice old school valve covers on the sb chevy 350 in it.(with a lot of help from my uncle)

Im pretty happy with the car,I gave 1500 for it a few weeks ago.Im looking to take the cherry bomb exhaust off and replace with flowmasters and fix a few little door dings and get preped for paint.But of course I need to fix all the little stuff first(horn,driver door linkage,door panel,seat motor,cut a new door key,headliner,plugs,air filter,shifter linkage)

Thanks...........Lol,yeah that console was the 1st thing I noticed when I looked inside of the car.I wouldent think it came factory like that?

Welcome to the site, those little things can get annoying to be trying to figure out but they really make a difference in the car overall. Goodluck with your build

mine had to be replaced because I was dumb and broke it while uninstalling it. I had found one on ebay a little bit ago and thought that it was the right color as the last one but nope it had to be a little darker but I'm okay with it because I have one now and I got a super sweet deal on it 🙂

Better a different color then a broken one 😀 .I just noticed your avatar,is that the factory color on the 2+2??Ive never seen that color,I like it.
