Hi all from south of Indianapolis! Gp403 finally got me activated, something about yahoo and scam!! Anyway,I have a 1987 base GP completely stock w/305 4bbl/4speed auto/split bench(pwr dr)/sunroof. Had it about 9 months and love the ride!! Spent the summer getting the headliner repaired and the sunroof fixed(leaker). Actually got a weathestrip from
GM,lol!!!
This past November I got my dream!! An 86 2 + 2!! Had to go to Kansas City the begining of December to pick it up(remember that snowstorm?). Was absolute hell getting there, but I drove her back with no problems!! She loves flying down the hiway between 80-90 mph!! The car is in excellent condition and stock except for 442 dual exhaust. It's all original except for the exhaust and was painted by Pontiac dealer 10 yrs ago.
My daily driver is a 94 Bonneville with a sunroof(another leaker!!). I may be loosing (selling without much choice) it to my sister in law. If that happens the 87 with be moving everyday.
The 2+2 only needs some small trim items and detailing. The 87 need some help!!! Doors,rr frame section, and I want to put a Pontiac 400 in it. Looking for aftermarket mounts now as I am not much of a fabricator!!! I could get the 87 done this winter/spring,but all that will be out the window if I loose the Bonny.
So,that's my stuff! I'll be making an album here later today so let me know what you think! 😀

Congrats on your purchase of the 2+2! They are interesting cars, and definitely one of the more rare G body cars that were built. Was your 2+2 for sale on Ebay earlier last fall? I recall a listing on Ebay for a car like the one you picked up. I picked up a 2+2 in the fall of 2005. The description of your '87 sounds kind of like the condition of my 2+2.
If you're looking to install a 400 Pontiac engine in your '87, you shouldn't have to get aftermarket mounts. Just look for mounts for a '78-'80 Grand Prix with a 301 Pontiac engine-they should work for your 400 engine swap. I'm sure that there will be other members here that will provide some help as well.

Yes,I did get it off Ebay. Paid a little more than I wanted but saved it from having a turbo v-6 put in it! Nothing wrong with the t-V-6,but this car needs to stay stock. Thanks for the tip on the mounts. Like I said above,it may be a long way off. I'll start bugging people then!!

Welcome to the forum! 😀

There's another 2+2 for sale on Ebay now. Its got some damage to the left rear quarter. I'll be curious to see how much it sells for.

Yeah, saw that.Looks like frame is screwed to me.Right pillar is buckled. Not much use for parts either as the entire rear looks damaged. He says the deck lid is good, but it sure looks tewaked an awful lot!! One ended earlier this week. It's in the next town over from me.Was on Ebay a month ago.Went for 2600.Bidder backed out and second chance didn't bite.I wanted it just to have extra body parts, but just got done buying mine and was tapped. Winning bid the second time was 4000!!! and it had LF fender/door damage!!!! Rest of it was poor.I'm finding it's actually pretty hard to find GP parts!!Even the regular ones!!
