Hello! I'm new to the forum! My name is Shelby and I have one of the few remaining 1977 Caprice Landau Coupes. I'm currently in the process of restoring it and sending it in a classic muscle direction.
I look forward to the discussions and lessons to be learned here.
Thanks!

Thanks! I've got plenty of snarkiness to throw back!

What would be the best forum to start looking for help with tuning a Quadrajet carb?

I wish you luck with the Caprice, but I'd just like to point out that it isn't a G body. I'm not sure, but it might actually be considered a "B body." It's a bit bigger than our cars and parts for our cars might not always work for your car.
The "G body" platform discussed on this site didn't start until the 1978 model year, and was still considered "A body" until about 1982-ish when "A" got moved to GM's front wheel drive cars. It's all pretty confusing stuff! lol

Sorry if you already knew all this, but just keep an eye out for "B-body" instead of "G body" when you're shopping for parts!

Welcome aboard!
Cool body style....but not a G-body. We seem to be getting more B body cars lately. I guess B-body owners like our site more than the B-body site(s). I can't say that I blame 'em. 😉

Yeah I knew. But the engine is my car is a late 80's 305. I figured you guys would be more help than an A-body group in that aspect.

That being said, do you guys have any recommedations for a decent A-Body forum for the other stuff?

While you're here, try using our search function in our "Engine / Swaps etc" section. Just use "Quadrajet" or "Q-jet" as keywords. Lots of guys on here know about them and have discussed them. I'm more of a "Holley" fan myself so please excuse anything I may have said about them back in '09 or so if you go that far back in the results. haha
