Howdy! New to the forums, and thought I'd introduce myself. I live in Southern Indiana, and have several Oldsmobiles, most of which I plan to restore in the future. One is a 1977 Cutlass Salon, in need of a trans and rear bumper, and the other is a 1987 442, which I picked up this summer. I'm working on the wiring currently, and hope to have it ready to drive by spring (getting cold here, and the garage here is not very warm...we moved in late summer, and I don't have my big pole barn anymore). I do have a 1998 Bravada, but the trans has no reverse anymore, and needs some more work. I'm done putting money in it, so I'm going to sell it soon.
Here's a pic of the 442 when I brought it home:
It sat outside for 10 years. The interior is in great shape, although a bit faded. Can't wait to get it running. Got it to turn over, but having some harness issues. No power to the gauges or gauge lights. I've isolated it down to a 5 amp light circuit, but haven't gone farther yet. Will do more when the weather warms.
