Joined up because I've always been a big fan of the gbodies. SS Monte Carlos in particular. I had a buddy who bought one brand new back in 1985 and he let me drive it. I told myself that one day I would own one but to much life got in the way. Now I'm getting ready to purchase one but thought I'd do some research first, what a better place to do that??

Welcome! These are great project cars. Not fast from the factory but easily and fairly cheaply made so. Look out for rust especially on the rear frame rails. Post some pics if you decide to pull the trigger.
