Hi,

My name is Mark and I from the UK. I have just bought a 78 Regal which is quite rare this side of the pond. I have owned a few american cars (camaro's, Camino's etc) we have lots of american cars over here.

Mark

welcome mark you should find alot of information on your car here

Welcome!! Good to see love for the G body cars is truly all over the world. We would love to see some pictures of the car when you get a chance.

I'll put some on at the weekend but i warn you its stock at the mo so a bit boring. I have bought a cam, carb and inlet today which should pep it up a bit 😀

Here a pic of mine......could do with a clean and polish....... 😀

Im getting some new wheels soon that should make it look a little less boring!

looks good man

Thanks it'll look a lot better soon. I havent had it long and havent had much time to do anything but hopefully it'll look a lot different this time next month (and more fun to drive!)

Looks like a very nice starting point. I like the color. I use to have a black one that looked just like that. With a little polishing and buffing and like you said some nice wheels that will be a very nice ride. What does it have for a motor. You mentioned a cam. Are you going to hotrod it a little or you going to leave it mostly stock? Keep us up to date on any mods. Again it looks very nice.

Its a bone stock 305 😢

I have a 600 Holley carb, 268 comp cam, performer inlet, headers, dual exhausts to go on. Then im going to change the gearing and do a bit of head work (bigger valves, port & polish, roller rockers). Should be ok I had a similar setup on a 84 Camaro and it moved alright.

Im going to swap for a 350 at some point but i want to play about with the 305 first. Dont ask me why I must like wasting money 😀
