Aunt bought new. My Mom got the car went her sister passed. Mom just passed a couple of months ago. I've decided to keep the car and fix it up, after many attempts by my brother and wife, to go ahead and sell it. I intend to drive the car after getting license plates back on it. It has 52,000 miles and has always been parked in a carport. Has a little dent in passenger side door. Interior is in good shape except for headliner falling down. I'm retired and do not have a big budget for the fix-up, but I do want it to look real nice. Engine, far as I can tell is perfect. I hope I can do some of the fix-up myself. I have found a place online to hopefully buy some of the parts I will be needing, like the headliner. I just put new hood cylinders on it and bought and replaced all of the engine belts. It is white with the tan interior. I want to have it painted and put some new mags and a little larger tires on it. Not sure on the size wheels and tires to go with though. I will maybe try to post some pictures of it soon.

Hope to be a good new member and do everything correctly, but any coaching will gladly be excepted.

Welcome - an other oldie like me. Hope it's been a Carolina it's whole life and is rust free. Fyi - I took my headliner out, cleaned the board and glued fabric to it. It turned out great and has lasted over 10 years. Enjoy it!!!

Your interior looks fantastic! Great job!
Yes, the car has been in NC it's whole life. Rust free. I am going to take the headliner board out one day this week. Thanks for your reply.

Welcome aboard Mikey!
The car sounds like it's ready for some love and attention.. Post some pics of it when you get a chance. There's a bunch of senior members on the site, including myself, so don't feel out of place.

Thank you for the warm welcome! Yes, the car is going to get a lot of love and attention now. Hasn't been driven in a few years. Can't wait to get her looking great again! I will take some pics tomorrow and post them.
