hello, new to the site. i have an 84 monte carlo that was just finished and done as an 87-88 ss clone, 350/350 w/posi rear. future plans are to install a 700-r4 and change the gears to 3.73's, also just purchased an edelbrock pro touring kit. hoping to get rid of that body roll! my other toys are a 94 impala ss, which im looking to sell, a 96 impala ss dark cherry, and a 06 suburban. love my chevys!

Looks beautiful! I hope to have one of those one day. I hate to beat a dead horse but maybe look into swapping in a 2004r instead if you haven't. You'll like the 3.73s. That pro touring kit looks nice and should handle your body roll issues.

hello there, thanks for the complement! cant wait to put the kit in and hit a road course! i already purchased the 700r4. couldnt resist the deal. just rebuilt w/ less then 100 miles. 800 bucks. previous owner went with a 4l60 after having the 700 rebuilt. just have to get the drive shaft shortened. i gotta get some of the resto pics up here. i see your 83 has t-tops. one this i wish this car had!
