Hello! I just joined the forum. I am a former owner of 3 G-body's; '78 Monte, '79 Regal and a '76 Elky SS(not tech. a G-body then lol). I'm pondering building another one for a race car. Probably a Cutlass this time around. I would like to build a 383 with about 500HP and/or run at least 11.50's or better. And all on a slight budget of about $5000-$8000, including the cost of the car, although it might climb closer to $10,000, (I hope not, lol).
I also have a '96 Neon I am working on a little bit, but it's my daily. So, I can't do much with it that involves any more downtime than a weekend at most.
I'm sure I'll get some good info and ideas here.
