hi guys and gals (if any) my name is juan i am new to this site im from winston salem nc! im 19 and i drive a 85 monte ss i plan on full restoring this beautiful car but as i am a college student i find my self with little fund lol but i feel its better to take it slow anyway looking for tips on painting my dash and door panels black if any and maybe sum leather buckets seats that will fit that i can maybe find at a junkyard also engine tips don't really know where to start it has the 350 and a 200r transmission wit flowmaster exhaust it has a gas smell so i know theres probably a leak somewhere not sure how to find it any help would be greatly appreciated THANKS in advance guys download/file.php?mode=view&id=3355

Welcome nice ride black with candy green strips looks good different for sure but nice and ask around alot of these guys can give you alot of good answers.
 
awesome ride and i know what ur going thru my car has been a project for the past year and half and it was in some what bad condition

welcome to the site. as for your painting the interior i have used duplicolors vinyl and fabric dye and have had great results. its all in the prep work. SEM also makes a good product. once all my interior is done ill post some pics for you. complete transformation from puke green to flat black 8)
 
THANKS! for all the love its been a long road for the old fella lol 454muscle yes im trying to do the security as i rebuild the engine some people or somebody idk has already broken it to it twice stole my sounds out but couldnt get in the trunk to steal the woofers smh so i will be looking into some better sec soon! @jbracing thanks alot bro i also heard about duplicolor but never seen either of these products used so i was just kinda curious as to which i should use on interior those pics would mos deff help ALOT lol
 
i just dyed the upper door panels for my gp. it dried for 2 days and it did the carpet part really nice which i kinda wasnt expecting. just do the prep work right and spray several light even coats. it flows out nice and flexes with the soft parts. i was impressed
