Anyone have any spare body panel hardware laying around thats not needed?

The body shop called and my doors and tailgate are ready to be hung and cut in However like a dummy I powdercoated all my bolts the body shop does not want to use them for test fitting the panels because we will run the powdercoat putting it together and taking it apart and repeating that process again and again. Im figuring once its all set and aligned for the final time I can change one bolt out at a time for the powdercoated stuff.

If anyone has anything laying around and can help please let me know.

Off the top of my head I need:

Hood hinge (spring style hinges) bolts at hood & fender

Fender bolts in jamb and top of cowl including the 2 large special looking bolts as well as the smaller bolts at front of the fenders to the core support

Hood catch bolts and bolts that hold the bracket to the core support

Thanks!

Ed...I'm sure I could find you everything you listed off the top of your head this weekend...however I wouldn't be able to ship until Monday and then you'd be looking at 6-7 business days to receive...not sure you can wait that long?

Ed, I have buckets of body panel hardware, I would just have to dig through to find what is needed. I think you are close enough to me you could even come by and grab it.

Thanks Jim I wish I had time to run up there.

Kevins running to the yard this weekend and said he could probably grab whatever I needed.

At the moment I need the hardware listed and the body shop told me today I am missing 21 door hinge bolts. The door hinge bolts are my immediate need. I know I cleaned them all up and I dropped them off with the door hinges, the hinges are there but a bunch of bolts are missing

On the plus side the doors are done and in primer as well as the tailgate so once i get the bolts they will jamb the doors and gate and get them hung then we can get the front end on and we can block this sucker down and get some paint on it.

I guess the door hinge bolts that I sent you are useless now? I cleaned them up and chased all the threads for you. 😕

The bolts you sent me are what they have. I screwed them into the doors when I dropped them off. The others are what was in the body I took them
with me, cleaned them up, and brought them back put them in the car (bagged) and they are not there now. I should have screwed them into the body. There probably there but who knows where his shops a mess

Sounds like there's no semblance of order in that shop....for them to lose crucial hardware like that. You would have thought they'd keep everything together inside of the car.

Ed, I have door hinge bolts too. I could drop them in an envelope or small box?

Kevin, there door hinge bolts in there too?, you are the man!
