Hey thanks for viewing my post first and foremost....Ok here is my situation....I just bought another car to be used for parts...1983 Buick Regal for $450!! Lot of things Im going to be taking from it to put into my 84' GP but my only problem as of now is transport of the vehicle. It will need to travel about 50 miles and can't move do to a smashed front fender....I have a guy that will tow it for me for $200 but I was hoping that it would be safe for me to get a car dolley or trailer from uhaul and hook it up to my 2005 Jeep Cherokee w/ a v6....Do you guys think that this would be a good way to tow the car back or shuold i just bite the bullet and have the tow truck go get it...Any help would be much appreciated thanks guys in advance

You should be fine with getting a trailer from U haul. The distance really isn't that far and your Jeep should do fine. I am pretty sure U haul will make sure your Jeep will be able to tow the Regal by checking what the max towing capacity is. If you use a dolly, make sure you pull the drive shaft or the trans will get ruined.
the real issue is getting the car on the dolly/trailer if it doesn't drive. bring good come-alongs!! i just moved and that's how we did mine.
thanks for the info....im in cleveland as well btw...know anyone that needs regal parts?? car is pretty much complete aside from the few items ill be removing 😀

it has a 267 chevy and a turbo 350....the trans, trunk, hood, floor shifter carb/intake are all accounted for....but just about everything else is up for grabs...supposedly has hedman hedders on it as well but ive yet to check on that
