HELP... my seat belt light stuck on

I own a 78 cutlass..the seat belt light stays on even when both seat belts are buckled also buzzer buzzes until driver belt is clicked together..started out of the blue..any thoughts on a proper fix? Thanks so much

Check the wire at the seat belt receptacle. When you latch the seat belt this wire completes the circuit and stops the buzzer.

I have same problem but mines cut on and off while driving.

I am actually having the same issues, my light stays on. No buzzer though?

Check the buckle to see if something is making contact. Also check the buzzer box for contact/ground problems there.

Have you tried some WD40 in the buckle?

I have to dig out the wiring diagram, I know I have it somewhere. The buckle grounds the circuit, but I forget exactly how it was tied into the buzzer and light.
