help please

ok guys i just got an 85 cutlass with a 455 stuffed under the hood... the question i have is where does the dip stick go in the block cause who ever put the motor in never installed one.. also how much oil does this motor take..





oh and another ??? with an 85 cutlass with a 455 and a turbo 400 transmission
does anything have to be done to the the drive shaft.. the one in my car seems too short to me...

Should be on the drivers side, about 1/2 way. Check out this link and click the image for the full size, you'll see it there just behind the valve cover breather.... The location should be the same on a 455.
