I'm doing a SBC swap in my 85' Regal and I am trying to figure out how I'm going to run the fuel line on the passenger's side.

What are my options?

Can I use my existing fuel line in some way or do I have to get line from a Monte\Grand Prix?

If you're tring to do it cheaply, i'd just run rubber line from the end of the stock line over to the other side. As long as you can stay away from sharp bends.

I usually run a steel line from your original line across the crossmember to the other side, you can use some metal conduit clamps to attach it to the crossmember.

I pulled a line from a 305 powered Grand Prix when I did mine. This required me to pull the body of the GP off the frame at the junkyard with a chain fall hoist. I then changed the line on my Cutlass in much the same way, but I used an engine hoist hooked through the trunk latch loop to do it. My car was quite solid and a bit younger when I did it (1997). If your car is not, I suggest another means of separating the body and frame if you go this route. You also will need a new set of body bushings as the old ones will crumble when you remove them, if you can do so cleanly.

Barring my way of doing things, get some fuel line tubing in bulk from the speed shop and bend your own. Use Adel clamps to hold it in place.

I just ran a piece of hard line I bent up from the original spot on the driver side down along the front of the crossmember over to the passenger side...

Someday, I'll do like 85 Cutlass Brougham did, and replace it with the appropriate lines up the passenger side of the car.

I'll also add that I had to cheat a little... I kinked the line in one spot and had to cut it and patch it with a piece of rubber hose. I wish I hadn't though as now I have to replace the hose due to age. I also cheated and left the stock V6 fuel line in place. I figured it does no harm sitting there and is convenient if I ever run a secondary fuel system for nitrous.

yeah I was trying to keep the original lines because I may in a couple years switch to a TPI System... thanks for the help...
