I replaced my 85 307 with a olds 350 in my cutlass. I switched my distributor with an hei from a 76. Now i can not figure out how to get my a/c to work right. on my old distributor the a/c was connected to the harness that came out of it. My new distributor does not have that harness. Does anyone have any ideal what i can hook that wire to? Thanks

Look again. The CCC harness to the distributor is unrelated to the HVAC wiring. The CCC computer does control the A?C compressor clutch, mainly by using the TPS on the carb to tell the computer when the engine is at W.O.T. By removing this equipment, the compressor will not engage. You need to bypass the computer control of the compressor.

the pink/white wire that is on the ccc harness is the wire i am talking about when it is unplugged from the distributor it will not engage like you say. Any suggestions on how i can go about bypassing that to get my compressor to engage without the computer?
