HELP WITH TH200C

I HAVE A TH200C AND I HAVE HEARD IT WONT SHIFT WITH OUT THE CONNECTOR WHAT DO I NEED TO DO

I don't know if they work the same but I have a 350C that came in a car I bought and the connector was only to power up the lockup converter but would shift fine without it.

ok thanks i hope all is well when its done the mechanic was saying it wasn't going to shift

Ran a 200c for 6 years without lockup, shifted fine.
