I’m buying a new edelbrock intake and carb (pictures at the bottom) also was gonna buy a new blueprint hei distributor with vacuum and mechanical advance from summit.(mechanical advance by stock) The description says sbc/bbc but I put in my vehicle and it says it’s not compatible I have a 5.0 305 would I be able to drop in the distributor no problem with the new intake and carb since there’s no wiring for smog and all the bs anymore

Doesnt really matter if you have a computer or not, you are replacing the parts with non computer controlled parts so you wont need the ECM if its still there.
