Hey Brian,
Whatcha been up to? Thanks for posting those wagons. I don't know whether I care for them too much.
I like the '56 Chevy Nomad theme on the two tone, but it just doesn't look right. The B-pillar doesn't quite flow like a Nomad.
I think if he would have left the pillar vertical, it would have looked better. Just my opinion.
The 4 wheel drive one is kinda interesting, but still not my cup o' tea.

Hey Jack, I'm good how have you been?

Those wagons don't do it for me either. A lot of work into each tho, especially the 2 door.
I still haven't seen one I really really like(compared to the work involved).

I haven't been doing too much fun stuff for a while, but I did drop off my old Desoto hemi block at the machine shop last week.
I've also restoring an old boat......including re gel coating it. WTF was I thinking?!?! :blam:

Brian,
Tell me about the boat you're restoring. I recently saw a Glastron-Carlson GT150 on CL. It also needs restoration. Comes complete with trailer and 85 hp Johnson.. :puke: I would ditch that Johnson in a heartbeat and go with a good old 6 cylinder Mercury 100+hp. Great looking hull...and was pretty reasonable. I'm sure it's sold already..then again, I ask myself, Do I really need a boat? It would be fun, but where I live, it's not too close to the water...well then again there's lakes.
I could picture my wagon pulling a cool craft.
I forgot. What was the old Desoto hemi going into?

Hey Blake I'm glad you're not still in a snow drift 8)

Jack, the Desoto is for this old Dodge Hot rod P/U Its getting sleeved and bored this week.

The boat is a Siderwinder clone - 1976 with a 115hp I-6 merc I also have picked up a 150hp I-6 on a throw away Glastron.

I knew it had a bad floor I didn't think the transom was bad too 😳

Yow!! That floor and transom look pretty rough. The Sidewinder is a cool looking boat. It kind of looks like the Glastron that I mentioned.
I remember the Dodge Hot rod pickup now. That is one cool rod.. I'm glad that Hemi block is able to be sleeved...and saved.

rough indeed, me and my bright ideas...

the floor and transom are in the hull is upside-down with about 1/2 the green glitter gel removed and the deck is next to it on horses patiently waiting. I wish my wife was so patient

How is it going for you Jack? Blake?

We got pretty lucky up here this winter, which makes up for how bad last year was...
I should be able to pull the cars out in the next couple weeks, and hopefully the wagon is finally gonna get painted...
