a buddy of mine put 260,000 miles on that same car, then he sold it still running and bought the new model. he probably forgot to change the oil most of the time.

Those little Nissans will run forever. My brothers and i shared a little 84 pickup when we were 13-14 years old and when it got wrecked it had over 425,000 miles on it. Still ran like a top even though we abused the daylights out of it.Poor thing just couldnt handle hitting a stack of hay bales!

import = junk 😀

haha, thats funny. Don't you read the news???? Import=the only thing left pretty quick. Better move outta the 80's man.

Cool! (except for the wheels...lol) I love B13 Sentras! A car so good, you can still buy them new in Mexico and South America, where it has replaced the Beetle as the #1 seller. As for my Nissan, well... 307,500 miles as of tonight. Another 100 to be added tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, and...

You can't knock a car that's reliable and cheap to run. That is what Nissan used to stand for, before the cheese-eating surrender monkeys took them over! :evil:

That's a B12. My uncle had one that had over 320,000 miles on it before his daughter wrecked it. It even had the original starter and alternator! It was one of the cars that convinced me to buy a Nissan back in 1998. When I wanted a new car, I had asked around to people I knew as to the miles and reliability of their Nissans, and no one had anything bad to say. Most had seen over 200,000 miles and were still very reliable. I have actually had more Nissans than any other brand of car-2 B14 (95-99) Sentras, and my D22 Frontier. The other thing that convinced me not to buy GM again was a Calais Quad 4 that I had bought for $500. After replacing everything to do with the computer-even the wiring harness- it still ran terrible and 2 mechanics and a GM dealership could not find the problem! That's when I bought Sentra #1, a 1998 5 speed Sentra XE ( I got $200 trade for the Calais, and had $1700 in it-ouch!). I got it new, but traded it 3 mos later on the Frontier. It has been the best vehicle I have ever owned, and even now is still very reliable. Sure it needs a bit of work right now due to 307,500 miles on the original front suspension, but it never fails to start every day. Before these 2 Nissans, I used my Cutlass as my pizza delivery car.
