cool looks like a good start so far, i will be following this build closely, plz post pictures as you go along! i have a pontiac 400 that i will be putting into my regal.

question::

what did you use to paint the engine bay??

I just used cheap rattle can paint for the firewall. I need to find my motor mounts noone has them around here.

I got the chevy transmission pulled out today. I have problem now. The transmission im putting in has a different fitting where the speedo cable goes. Both tailshafts look the same. Does anyone know if i could switch them?

Just switch the piece that goes into the trans. The part the speedo cable threads onto. They should have been the same anyway, but swapping the original back into it will keep the sppedo accurate.

After reading your post i went and looked at the tannys and i see how they come off now. I thought it looked like the fittings came off before but i wasnt sure.

I got the speedo problem worked out but my kickdown cable bolt got stripped out at the trans. I had to drill the hole bigger and retapp it. Hopefully i can get the trans in sometime this week.
