From Xenia Ohio just east of Dayton. Moved back here from a long time in St. Louis, still have a small farm there. I have a 84 Grand Prix L.E all power, plus many others. I got it back in 94 from my Great Aunt with 62,*** on it. She bought it new always garage kept. It has just under 124,*** now. it has been sitting on the back burner for 10 years. I have a spare 89 GTA 5.7l TPI with 75,*** out of my brother car. I might swap it in. He built a new all aluminum engine with edelbrock runner and a BBK throttle body and injectors. So I ended up with the original engine.
I was cleaning the power widow stuff so it will work faster today and found the build sheet on the back of the top door panel. Only the 2nd one I have found out of 30 plus GM car that I have owned over the last 25 years. I really loved driving the Grand Prix when it was my daily driver. This is my second Gbody. Back in 92 I had an 81 cutlass diesel white with power everything, 15" Olds Rally rims, dark blue buckets, console, rally gauges and clock. It looked like new. I got it with a bad motor for $600. I swapped out the bad diesel with a 75 455 out of a wrecked Olds 98 from the yard. They where a dime a dozen back then. It was a decent car for power. Hated to sell it.
I have wrenched on a ton of these car in the past for all my friend and family. Every one had some form of one, even a GN. Glad to see some people are still keeping them on the road. I don't see many around here much. They spray liquid car eater on the roads in winter around here. So nothing last more then 20 year here with out major cancer.
