...I have a 1987 442. I'm in need of advice and at least one hard to find part and this looked like the place I'd most likly get both. Never posted in a forum or anywhere else online before so before I do something to embarrass myself I'm gonna back and read the How to's. I'll be here quite often learning all I can about my car. I love her very much but had to leave her in the yard when I went to Canada. (for 8 yrs) She wasn't too happy about that. Now I've got a lot of making up to do and thought a good first step would be joining this forum. Seems like a pretty cool place. Looking forward to being here!

welcome to the forum and I have to ask....the car's name doesn't happen to be karen does it?
Told ya'll I'm new to this. Not sure how to post replies....yet. (am i replying to myself here or what) But anyway...thanks to everyone for the welcome. Making me feel right at home already.
Yes that's my daughter, a lovely woman of 30 now. (doing the math aren't ya) That is the only digital pic I have of the car before it got wrecked and sat in my yard for 8 yrs. (I'll get new ones of both of them I promise) I have a handsome 36 yr old son and 2 fine looking grandsons as well. The oldest (8yrs) will get the car on his 18th birthday if he wants it. I want to restore it myself and I have a lot to learn and do. I've replaced the radiator already and it took me a day to do it. yes a WHOLE day....and I've only got 10 years to finish it in my spare time.
No the cars name isn't Karen....it's "She" or "Her" and sometimes "P.O.S."
Daughter's name is Jessie.....so there's no more confusion, silly!
and I ain't too shabby myself......so don't hit the shower just yet.
and i agree....i'm at the best g body site on the web.
ok....now ....about that cluster...i have a time limit remember!
