Can you feel it shift more than once? Might still be second gear.

I think the problem is my transmission because I checked it yesterday and its about a quart and a half low, I forgot that while the car was sitting it leaked all that out. But long story short I believe it's still in second gear, but thanks for all the input.

If you have been running around with it low, don't add ATF, add Lucas.

If you need more then a bottle of Lucas, top the rest off with type F or FA fluid.

I have used that stuff to "fix" many a beater ( not saying yours is) and it's cheap to try.

Also is the vacuum mod hooked up?
