Ok,

So those that don't know me (most of you) I am in the car industry pretty heavy. Today I was notified by watt automotive that my all Alum radiator is finished. Look at this thing. I have the same spec setup as the NASCAR circut runs. It seems they make the rads for the Nascar Circuit. I can't wait this thing is a beast!

Is it possible for this rad to cool too efficiently?

This is the quote from my manufacturer, I hope he is joking.

"After checking.
Due to the core size we are not available , so I build the special core for this 162.
The spec is same as NASCAR which we supply to the team.
Please ask your colleague put the turbo in his car, otherwise it will be far away too cool."

It is possible to have too much cooling. You don't want the temperature of your coolant dropping really low and then going into the engine, constantly. If this happens, you are bound to warp/break something eventually.

that's why we run thermostats to regulate the engine temp

and I see Blake beat me to it...

I see what you mean, maybe it's being manufactured offshore..

also if you are looking into an aluminium racing rad allstar makes them and C & R who supplies most nascar teams with rads and accessories has them for a few more bucks. I run the allstar which cost me around $180 with my discount. Just go to your local circle track retail store and they should have an allstar rad in stock for around $200

I need a rad for my '78 Cutlass...How much for one like this?

You know I am unsure. I know I have $75.00-100$ in it for them to make it for me. And that is a favor more or less for being their largest customer.

I'll have to get back with you. When I fly over to Asia later this month I'll have more details.

Yes, It is being manufactured off shore. 99% of Valeo (Chrysler) Vista Pro (Ford) and Delco are all made over there, or assembled in Mex. Unfortunate, but The Big Three started the process.

Yeah, that grammer just screams "Made in China and we have NO idea what we are doing!"

I guess I find it hard to believe that NASCAR is running a radiator Made in China. What I think is more believeable is that these Made in China radiators are knock-off's of maybe what a NASCAR may be running.
