Hood struts

What fastener is correct for the top connection of these hood prop shocks?
I have new ones from Rock Auto. AC Delco and they have a clip on the end.

It’s not a ball stud? Are those direct replacement s for a stock strut?

I do not know what fastener is required on the hood struts. Ball or shoulder bolts or a stud with a clip. Only some G bodies have the gas struts and Kirban sells a "kit". It looks like the kit calls for 4 should bolts, like in my picture.

Requires 4 shoulder bolts, no ball or stud. The replacement struts threw me down a different path when I seen the retaining clip on the upper end. It was removed and installed without.
