The wire to my horn is broken & I had to disconnect them from under the hood because it was stuck on. How can i fix this?

I had a problem with my horn, the pad would stick for some reason at around 3 in the morning lol and I was sick of cops coming and ringing my doorbell til I went out to rip off my horn cover. What I did was just cut out the connector that goes to the horn pad (not the buttons), and cut out the connector for the pad, solder/shrink wrap the horn wire and the wire for the buttons. So now my pad is non functional but the buttons work, and no horn going off randomly anymore. IF that's the problem you have, that's the best fix.

If I remember correctly, there is something of a spring underneath the horn button. Sometimes they get weak and can stick. Also, they are just an open loop meaning that when you hit the button it completes the circuit allowing the horn to sound. I have seen connections that were slightly too close to the surrounding metal randomly honk.

A few long shots, but thought I'd mention them
