besides the oil on the plug that plug does not look like it came from an engine burning rich enough to get 8 mpg
Again, Charcoal cannister must be hooked to the bowl vent (if a qjet), and the vent line. Not the return. Most g bodies had a feed/vent and no return.I intend to do just that just have to find available time. I do have a charcoal canister which is currently hooked to the old return line and the second port is plugged because when I ran with it unplugged it didn’t seem to improve the situation any it seemed to make the fuel smell even worse.
Yea my next tank I’ll do 89 because 91 is premium so I’m hoping I don’t have to go that far considering the price difference

I agree, that is terrible mileage. That ring still might be seating or seated during running and left evidence on the plug. Since you live in Florida, make sure you have your choke set on the bare minimum, same with the choke pull off opening, a much as it will allow. I probably and not fair off 8 mpg but that is very short runs with the choke on most of the time. I would still crawl under and check for leaks.besides the oil on the plug that plug does not look like it came from an engine burning rich enough to get 8 mpgoknm de
