yea i saw the engine getting ran on tv the other day and i noticed it was an olds v8 because of the valve covers,i thought It was about time!

I watched both episodes about the build up... I was kinda shocked when he said they were going to be working with an Olds motor...

Saw that too, as well as the first episode when The Dr. was building up the short-block - stated it was running great when it was running like pure crap?! Didn't understand that at all. I was yelling at the screen, check the timing and fuel delivery - she's running bad & starving - it's not a SBC!!!!!

Despite that and the fact they didn't state what oil they put in after the initial break-in glad they FINALLY built one and didn't gloss over it like they usually do.
