Is it okay to use clear hose tube? i found some that says good for chemicals, air, and water. I was gonna use some for my fuel pump. It looks like this

Im just worried about it melting maybe? But if i keep it zip tied away from the headers and such it should be okay, right?

unless you know exactly what material it is, and that it's fully resistant to gasoline, oil, ethanol and extremely abrasion resistant, don't touch it.
good HQ fuel line is pretty cheap and much safer.

Throw a chunk into a glass of gas and see if it holds up. I've seen a lot of old school rods running a clear red hose. But myself I wouldn't want to run it on my car.
