Radiator hoses ???'s

I have a 1980 Monte Carlo and a 1988 Monte Carlo SS both with sbc engines and when I look for bottom radiator hoses I'm getting different part numbers for the bottom radiator hoses,is there a difference in the hoses,I thought g body hoses were the same?Thanks

There are two upper & two lower hoses for SBC's. Earlier cars used the one pair, later the other. But between '81-'84 it's kinda intermixed on the application list. The uppers had a difference in the hose diameter at the radiator neck (explains why radiators that fits all years has one of those rubber hose adapters). The lowers are based on the shape to clear the smog pump mounting. My '81 had both earlier hoses & my parts car '86 had the later. Jr.'s '79 has the earlier. Current set up for my '81 has the earlier upper (what would be needed with a Cold Case) & later lower cause I'm using the pulley & bracket set up off the '86.
