Re: how big are these tires? I want to cut my fenders like t
The car is very low which make them look bigger. Realistically for the street you could do a 245/60/15 26.6" tall up front. And a 295/50/15 26.7" tall on the rear both on inexpensive 15x8 wheels for little money and little to no effort to fit. With the look both wheel & tire that you are probably trying to accomplish. Firestone makes the Firehawk Indy 500 in this size and would look awesome. I have had the stones and were very impressed with them. Much better tire than the BFG Radial TA and actually priced better to boot. http://www.tirerack.com has them.
Hmnn just checked tirerack and they don't have the Firehawk in the 245 anymore. Discontinued although their still may be some out there if you check with Firestone. Also especially if you are not running white letter out you could use the BFGs up front and the Stones in the rear or both BFGs. Interesting both showed an 8.5" tread width for the 245 but Firestone showed their 295 tread width at 9.9" while BFG showed theirs at 10.4".
