I'm putting in new glass and I'm swapping over the pieces that attach to the glass. All the pieces are pretty self explanatory except the guide piece. It looks like it has some kind of rivet?? holding it together.
Has anyone taken this apart? and what did you do to put it back together?
Thanks

Can you be more specific? Is it the piece that fits to the base of the glass, or one of the vertical tracks?

If you can duplicate those rivets and have access to rivet gun that would work with that size rivet, then grind the heads off and use a thin punch to drive the rivets out. It should then be pretty straight forward.

Quarter inch tri-split rivets. Use dozens of them monthly at work. Commonly used on Fomoco door glass to this day, as well as to attach various parts in the doors of many domestics.

To remove them, use a 1/8 inch pin punch to drive the center mandrel out, then drill with a 1/4 inch bit

You'll need an air riveter, air over hydraulic riveter, or a Marson Big Daddy style rivet tool to set them.

Your new glass didn't come with that??
