I'm removing my antenna because when I swapped fenders after the accident I need it lol I removed the 2 small bolts on the inside of the fender but it's nit coming out, can someone please give me directions on how to do this?

The little round piece at the base of the antenna should have 4 little semi-circle notches in it. take a pair of vise grips and unscrew it from the bottom half, there you go!!!

Best of luck, mine was so corroded that I ended up having to drill out the center to save monkeying up the fender. But as was said prior unscrew the base cap(if you can)

You have to remove the nut on top of the fender.

one more thread that was useful for me. Need to remove the antenna for winter storage. thanks!
