Well my Regal is just about ready for paint, hopefully by January/Febuary she'll be on the road with a fresh lick of new paint. I need to remove the rear quarter windows as part of my prep, and to remove them, I need to remove the interior sail panels, which I'm having trouble with. How do I get them out? Esspecially where they are held in by the shoulder belt. Thanks!

you have to remove the bolt( hex socket) at the top of the seat belt on the upper sail panel, and also the bolt (hex socket) that is next to the front seat, then remove the screws that hold the upper sail panel on. then for the lower sail panel you also have a couple screws. once you take those out. you can pull the lower sail panel away from the body. then you will have to feed the end that was by your front seat and feed it through the slot in the lower sail panel. boom your done. lol need to remove the back bench seat.

The sail panel is two main pieces. Take off the door Trim and the headliner trim. There are a couple screws in sail panels themselves. Remove the upper seat belt bolt. the seat belt will fit through the hole in the panel(extremely tight and you have to push, but it does fit)

I took a closer look, and maybe I'm retarded, but I can't find any visible fasteners holding the upper seatbelt (on the b pillar) to the b pillar. Pictures would help if anyone doesn't mind, and is there a sequence I have to follow to remove the panels? Also, do I have to remove both the top and bottom sail panels or can I just take the upper sail panel out? Thanks guys.
