You restored a Chevrolet Celebrity radio? I never thought I’d ever hear that.

The 5 band EQ dual knobs are somewhat desirable among the GBody and FBody crowds

especially if they have a CD

They sell for 400+ restored fairly easily

Really? I have one on the shelf..... 🤔

Mine is nothing real fancy.
Got a Kenwood deck,model KDC-BD855U.
I wanted an Excelon but the shop I was dealing with couldnt get them.
Its got AM/FM,CD player, two USB ports,an aux jack,Bluetooth,(which doesnt work since I put the Daytona Sensors ignition box in),and a whole bunch of other stuff that I dont know much about.
Theres two older 6X9 brand name speakers in the back and two 3 or 3.5 speakers in the dash.
It takes a while to get it set the way I like it,but the sound is good enough for me.
The real sound comes alive at 6000 + RPM when the 650 HP Big Block starts singing,LOL

68mm compressor in perfect harmony with a wastegate open to atmosphere. I'm usually all about big stereos in my cars but have never put one in the Malibu. Aside from the awesome turbo noises I like to keep close tabs on all the other odd noises it makes, and it's saved me loads of work/trouble a couple times.

Currently rocking a Firebird 7 Band EQ radio, with a Bluetooth adapter to funnel the tunes in from my phone. Other than a little alternator whine, it works great.

I mostly just use my ears...

By no means top of the line, but if I feel like it, you sure can hear me coming.

JVC - RGB (Red, like the rest of my dash) with Bluetooth, USB, Separate Sub Outputs, Hands Free Phone.
Crappy SSL EQ, but it works.. Red, of course.. Same width as the stereo, so it plus the stereo = the 1.5DIN nicely.
Pioneer 6x9's in the back, 6" in the front
Three 200W 2Ch.. Front, Rear, and Sub
10" Sub in a box in the trunk

Mostly CD's, but sometimes a big old USB Stick with a few thousand tunes set on random.

Any given day it could be anything from Grateful Dead to Suicidal Tendencies and everything inbetween... Except this sh*t they call country nowadays.. That ain't country. Willie, Waylon, Johnny... Thats Country.. This sh*t now.. No.
