I got a great deal on a3'8 v7 turbo engine out of a totaled grand national and i have a 84 cutlass with the stock v6 3.8 liter i was just worried about the turbo accessories. Does anybody know about installing turbo engines ?

The wire harnesses swap is the hardest part. You have to be sure to get everything.

It's been done many times. Considering the similarities between G bodies it's relatively easy if you have the donor car.... Among others, Wagon over on Oldspower.com put one in his long roof.

Sorry for the short answer, Tapatalk is a pain sometimes. I have one in my wagon. The engine swap itself is straightforward. If you have a BOP bell housing you are set. But since you said you have the complete car. Just pull the engine, trans, hot/cold piping etc. The gn has the 8.5 rear and 2004r, take it all along with the driveshaft. Then, go here ----> http://www.gnttype.org/ for all the wiring diagrams and stuff. You need the whole ECM harness, ECM and all. since the 84 olds had the CCC system most likely, it would probably already have a check engine light, the brake switches etc. Be for warned, to do the wire harness swap right, you need to remove the dash boards in both cars to get everything.

The a/c may be on the opposite side, not sure. The radiator for the LC2 is different, since it has the trans cooler and oil cooler in it.

Is the CCC wiring under the dash different in any way over the GN? I know the CCC wiring under the hood is different, but I thought the CCC wiring under the dash was the same?

Yes, there are some differences. Without having the schematic for both in front of me I can't say the exact differences.
